We collect only the information necessary to provide our services. This includes personal information such as your name, mobile number, optional email address, shop name, and business address.
We also collect business and transaction data including customer details (name, phone number, purchase history), billing and invoice data, inventory data including product details and IMEI numbers, as well as sales, payment, and outstanding records.
Additionally, we collect device and technical data such as device type, operating system version, IP address, app usage logs, and crash reports. Location data may also be collected to show nearby shop visibility and improve services, but only when permission is granted.
App Permissions
Phoneo may request certain permissions including camera access to upload product images, location access to enable location-based features, phone access to directly call customers, and SMS access for OTP verification only.
We do NOT access or collect any data beyond what is necessary for these features.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide billing, invoicing, and inventory management services, maintain customer records through CRM, generate reports such as sales, profit, and stock, enable online storefront and QR-based access, improve application performance and user experience, and provide customer support.
Data Security
We implement strong security measures including data encryption both in transit and at rest, secure cloud storage, and role-based access control for staff accounts.
We do NOT sell your personal or business data.

AI Data Usage
Phoneo uses certain business-related data such as mobile phone model, colour, storage or variant, buying price, selling price, and stock-related information to improve and operate AI-based systems.
This data is used only in aggregated and anonymized form for analytics and system improvement.
Phoneo strictly does NOT use personal data such as customer name, mobile number, or address. This personal data is used only for billing and record-keeping and is never used for AI training.
We do NOT sell or share user data with third parties, and all data is processed securely with strict access control.
Data Retention & Inactivity Policy
Phoneo follows a structured data retention policy to ensure efficient service and responsible data management.
If your account remains inactive, it will be marked inactive. After 6 months of inactivity, public business data such as storefront listings, product visibility, and shop profile information may be removed.
After 12 months, all remaining data including customer records, billing and invoice data, inventory and IMEI records, and account-related information will be permanently deleted.
Deleted data cannot be recovered. Users are advised to export their data before inactivity.
Users can request data deletion at any time. Some data may be retained if required by law.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
